So, Who's the Ginger?

I wanted to give everyone a little information about who I am as a person, aside from shooting, for the ones that don't know much about me personally to better explain why I wanted to start teaching. I hope you enjoy reading this short summary and feel like you know me a little better after you finish reading.

I am a saved, born-again Christian who is not perfect and loves the Lord striving daily to represent and serve Him in everything I do. I was raised in a Christian home all my life. My Dad has been a Deacon in the Church I grew up in as long as I can remember as was my grandfather. My Mom has taught Sunday school in the same Church since I was a young teenager, also alongside my grandmother who had taught the same Sunday school class since I was a kid. I was born and raised in the beautiful state of Alabama where I still reside today.

I have always had a desire to help people. Pretty fitting I suppose as so many of my family members enjoy serving others as does my Church family. I can remember going on my first mission trip to Honduras at 8 years old and the impact that had on me. Memories I still carry with me today that make me very grateful for the blessings God has bountifully given me throughout my life. I always enjoyed doing odd jobs as a teenager and into my college years, in addition to the part time job I had working for the public. Regardless of the task, I always got more satisfaction from doing something to help someone that either wasn't able or that just didn't want to do it themselves.

I even got into my career as an Occupational Safety and Health Professional because I enjoy helping people. Have there been times in my life where I was frustrated by people (like all of us are at times), yes. However, when you have that one person or group of people every now and then tell you that something you did for them really helped them in some way, makes all the headache and hardships worth it.

I have had a lot of people help me along my journey in life to make me who I am today. Several of those people were either from Church or I have met through shooting. The whole reason I am starting to teach a little is because I want to continue to help newcomers and experienced shooters as I have so graciously been helped thus far and even to this day. I hope that there is some help that I may be able to offer to benefit you and others like you.
