Service Description

This 1-day pistol course is designed for the intermediate shooter that is somewhat skilled with their carry gun, is an IDPA Sharpshooter Expert or Master, or is a USPSA C, B, or A class shooter. If you are wanting to know how to get to Master or Grand Master in your respective division/shooting sport or how to be highly skilled with your carry gun, look no further than this course. This course can be catered to IDPA, USPSA, or EDC. Course Objectives: 1. Range safety 2. Fundamentals of pistol skills 3. Recoil management 4. Defining the acceptable level of accuracy and the required level of speed 5. Target transitions in and around barriers 6. Shooting while moving 7. Multi position shooting skills 8. Dryfire and live fire training techniques 9. Minimalist practice setups for limited resources and limited time 10. Planning practice sessions Required Equipment: 1. A holster suitable for duty, competition, concealed carry, or everyday use 2. A handgun that functions reliably 3. At least 3 magazines, if you are shooting a magazine that is 10 rounds or less consider bringing at least 5 4. At least 2 magazine pouches 5. Eye protection 6. Hearing protection 7. Something to take notes with (no video recording please) 8. 500 rounds of ammunition. If you wish to have more repetitions on each exercise, feel free to bring more ammunition. 9.
